Japanese Selvedge Denim is not something you often find on a watch strap—and that is exactly what makes it special on the Royal Oak Offshore. We use original Selvedge Denim sourced from renowned Japanese mills, slowly woven on vintage looms to create its tight weave, pronounced twill lines and characteristic yarn texture. On the Royal Oak Offshore, the result is a strap with a more relaxed personality while keeping the finished look clean, structured and distinctly premium.
Material : Made from finest Japanese organic cotton woven on vintage American machines, guaranteeing lightness and strength. The underside is lined with soft leather for everyday comfort.
Thickness : 3.7mm on lug area taper down to 2.7mm on holes area.
Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by antique awl and hand stitched with white wax yarn. (you can choose any other color combination/stitching to make a truly custom strap).
Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.
How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.
