Description : Introducing the new addition to the Cartier Santos-Dumont collection. Italian leather watch strap designed exclusively for Santos Dumont feature Quick-switch system using the same metal adapters and comes with a quick release spring bar to provide a flush fit for the Cartier Santos-Dumont without any lug overhang. Unlike the Santos line-up, this collection was made to only fit straps, not bracelets. With its slim case and classy look, it was a very dressy watch that worked well on a range of straps.
Idro brings a refined and distinctive character to your wrist through its naturally textured pebbled surface and rich tonal depth. Crafted using Hydro Repel Pebbled leather from a prestigious Italian tannery, features with a metal adapter to provide a flush fit with the Cartier Santos-Dumont and comes with a quick release spring bar. This strap combines traditional vegetable tanning with advanced water-resistant treatment, create a unique appearance that becomes even more attractive with wear.
While regular straps could be used, it does not create an integrated fit that flows nicely with the case, which is not ideal. After research & development now we are able to make integrated straps for the three sizes of Santos-Dumont on the market - Small, Large and Extra Large.
Material : Made from Hydro Repel Pebbled leather from the renowned La Bretagna tannery in Italy, combining rich natural texture with enhanced water resistance. Infused with oils and waxes, the leather remains soft, durable, and comfortable for everyday wear.
Thickness : 3.5mm on lug area taper down to 2mm on holes area
Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by discreet tone-on-tone stitching that enhances the durable leather's rich colour.
Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.
How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.
Warranty : This watch strap is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase when used under normal conditions and for its intended purpose.
