Description : The “GREY ARILLO” strap is the exact replication of an aged strap on the Grey Arillo 6152/1, authentically recreating the dark brown leather color, darkened burnishes, distress marks. The Grey Arillo is composed of two layers of dark grey leather that has been hand aged. The brown has been darkened to the point where it looks like patina from wear which is very close to the original straps color.
All the details that make the Grey Arillo 6152/1 special among all the antique Panerai watches.
Material : From the vegetable tanning to the splitting, in hours and hours of traditional work. This process will be repeated until the color saturation is ideal. The final step is detailing the straps with additional dye which gives you a strap unique in its own way.
Thickness : 5.5mm on padding area taper down to 3.5mm on holes area
Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by discreet tone-on-tone stitching that enhances the durable leather's rich colour.
Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.
How it's made : Over 10 hours of labor and precision were involved in the making of this strap for a luxe look and feel. An extraordinary watch strap to lust after.
