Description : Creating the straps of this Vacheron Constantin Overseas involves more than 10 stages ranging from preparation through to finishing. Our straps are specifically made to fit the Vacheron Constantin Overseas VCO 4500V (Self-Winding), VCO 7900V (Dual Time), VCO 4300V (Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin), VCO 5500V (Chronograph), VCO 6000V (Tourbillon), VCO 7700V (World-Time) with the special metal insert for the interchangeable strap system, you can easily switch in seconds without tools. While the OEM bracelet and rubber strap that comes with the watch are good, there are times when you just prefer to have a Rhone strap on for a different look.
The VCO’s clean and contemporary design works effortlessly with Rhone, creating a look that is both modern and understated. Sourced from the Alpine regions, this leather is not only soft to the touch but also carries unmatched quality, supreme comfort, durability, water-resistance and luxurious aesthetic. Its subtle matte finish keeps the overall appearance refined and easy to pair across different settings, from casual to formal.
Material : Smooth calfskin leather that comes from famous Tanneries in France which has been making leather since 1842 and is well known for its premium calfskin leathers.
Thickness : 4.5mm on lug area taper down to 2.5mm on holes area
Stitching : Each stitching hole is punched by antique awl and hand stitched with white wax yarn. (you can choose any other color combination/stitching to make a truly custom strap)
Edges : The leather edge is first sealed with edge paint for humidity resistance, and then repeatedly layered with iron-heated waxed coating for a smooth finish.
